MEFE's meat marking ink with extra drying agent is safe for use in domestic and export abattoirs and will not alter fragrance or taste of food. Ink has been specially formulated for ease of use and for fast drying properties. MEFE marking ink is safe to use as prescribed on any food surface and can be used direct on any food item from meat to eggs or on food packaging.

Certificate of acceptance by the relevant governing body for use in export registered meat establishments - number LOA0972.

 

Please note: This ink works wonderfully on porous surfaces, however it will not stick to smooth surfaces such as glass and porcelain

2 year Manufacturer's Warranty:
Below are the terms of the Manufacturer’s warranty offered by Mitchell Engineering Food Equipment Pty Ltd, located at 23 Storie Street, Clontarf.

Warranty Coverage:
We guarantee that our meat marking ink is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and storage conditions. This includes storing the ink in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. The ink is guaranteed to perform as expected for marking purposes when used within 12 months from the date of purchase and as directed.

Warranty Claims Process:

  1. Notification: If you believe your meat marking ink has a defect, please contact our customer service department at 07 3283 4536 or notify us in writing at info@mefe.com.au.
  2. Proof of Purchase: Provide proof of purchase, such as an invoice number or a copy of the tax invoice.
  3. Inspection: If necessary, we may request that you return the ink for inspection to determine the nature and cause of the defect. The cost to return the ink may be at your expense.

Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from:

  • Misuse, modification, or neglect.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Force majeure events beyond our control.
  • Failure to adhere to the storage instructions specified within the product manual.
  • Use of the ink beyond its recommended shelf life even when stored under recommended conditions.

Remedies:
If a defect covered by this warranty is properly notified to us and is determined to be a result of improper storage or handling as specified, we will, at our discretion, replace the defective ink.

Limitation of Liability:
Our liability is limited to the replacement of the defective ink and excludes consequential or incidental damages to the extent permitted by law.

Consumer Rights:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
